Moms that serve for OUR Country sounds so simple in just those few words but what does it truly mean behind it? I am here to tell you that it is much more than that. Back in the day Mothers were known to stay home while it was hard to see their husbands go off to war and now, today things have changed as she gets closer to combat. She sacrifices to join the Military and becomes a Soldier and to leave her kids at home is something that as a mother myself would be very difficult. Everyday they push themselves to strive to the next challenge, thinking and knowing and feeling she is doing the very best for her and most importantly her family. To risk her life for those around her is incredible and meaningful in such a powerful way. She is proud of who she has become and to know she is doing this for the best it helps her to get through it.
Moms that are active duty I want to hug and to acknowledge each and every one of them. They do so much for us but expect very little in return. They strive to be the best and the best they will be. There kids are proud and so are we!
